The Present

  1. In 2002 having had a houseful of senior dogs for a number of years, we decided it was time for some young blood.  We were about ready to retire and move to North Idaho,  and wanted the energy and excitement of showing dogs again. Since retirement, we have found new Irish Setter friends in the Northwest. We’ve joined the Irish Setter Club of Seattle  and would like to start the Irish Setter Club of the Inland Northwest closer to home. Now in 2014 we again have a houseful of senior dogs. Sadie is 12, Quinn is 10, and our youngster, Regan, is already 6.

Sadie, Ch. Rusticwood Aff-Air T’ Remember is a special girl with lots of bird-sense as well as beauty. She earned a “Most Promising Puppy in Field” award at just six months of age. On her way to her championship, she earned a 5 point Specialty major! Next came Quinn, Mystic’s Willohill Top Dollar, who needs just her majors to finish.  And finally in 2008 came Regan, now Ch. Kinross Willohill Ticket to Ride BN, CGC who has shown an aptitude for Obedience as well as conformation. Since losing Harrison earlier this summer, and realizing our little dog family is aging, we are starting to think about a new puppy!
